Would You Like to Write About New Members?

Writers needed! We have received feedback that the new member introductions are enjoyed but should be more in-depth and include an interview. Please let me know if you would enjoy writing some of these.

Introducing Paul Shaum

Paul Shaum, a Wall Street finance veteran shaping health services in Connecticut. 



Paul is a resident of Westport

• Education: MBA from Vanderbilt University (1973), BA from Eckerd College (1971)

• Career: Extensive experience in Wall Street firms, including:

Bankers Trust London and Brazil

Salomon Brothers (High Yield Bond Research)

Bear Stearns Managing Director of High Yield Research

Nations Bank Managing Director of Fixed Income Research

Soros Fund Management Portfolio Manager – High Yield Special Situations

• Community involvement: Currently serves as Chairman of the Aspetuck Health District, overseeing health services and environmental services for Westport, Weston, and Easton.

• Personal: Married to Claudia Shaum.

• Interests: Strong interest in the Global Issues Discussion Group and Investment Club within the Y's Men of Westport/Weston organization.
