Y's Men Gather at Compo Beach Tuesday Evenings

Join the Y’s Men at Compo Beach every Tuesday around 5:00 pm for a bring‑your‑own picnic and sunset at South Beach (weather permitting). Beach picnic rules apply; nothing made of glass. No beach pass is required if you tell the gatehouse you’re there for the Y’s Men event, but please use your stickered car if you have one.

Y's Men Play Bocce Every Wednesday Morning

Bocce meets every Wednesday at 10:30 am at Veterans Memorial Park, 909 Reef Road in Fairfield and runs until about noon; show up and play—no fees or registration—with six courts and restrooms on site.

For additional information, contact Y's Man Len Ances at ances@sbcglobal.net or

203-227-8218.

Thursday Morning Social Hour Continues at Compo

Y’s Men Social Hour provides complimentary coffee, donuts, bagels and great company.

Choosing conversation over caution, Y’s Men gathered at the Compo Beach pavilion Thursday morning. They chatted comfortably in the murky air as smoke from Canadian wildfires drifted across Long Island Sound triggering state air‑quality alerts.

Members are already looking ahead to this coming Thursday’s Social Hour at Compo Beach, which starts at 9:00 am. Sunshine, clean air, and mild temperatures are expected. Use your vehicle with a beach sticker. No beach sticker? Tell the guard at the gate you are with Y’s Men.

Y's Men spouses and significant others are invited and encouraged to attend Thursday morning Social Hour.

Tuesday, August 4 Set for Annual Hot Dog Festival

Bring an appetizer, side dish, dessert, wine or beer for yourself or to share to supplement the free hot dogs that highlight the event.

And remember, this always has been a successful Y's Men fundraiser, so bring cash or a check.
