If you are new to Saint Clement, there will be a New Parishioner Meet & Greet at 6:15 p.m. in Fahey Hall on the Wednesday of YAC Friendsgiving. You'll get a chance to meet some of the board and other new members joining the parish community. From there, we'll head to the YAC Friendsgiving at 7:00 p.m. together. We look forward to meeting you!

Join us this Thursday for Magnify! Following the 6:00 p.m. Daily Mass, we’ll hear a catechetical talk -- on Nov. 21, this talk will be from Fr. Brett Williams. We will then move into a time of Adoration and the option for confession, accompanied by light praise and worship music. We will end with fellowship in the chapel gathering space. Join us! Magnify is hosted by our Young Adult Community, but open to everyone.

YCP Chicago Saint Joseph Retreat

Join YCP Chicago on Saturday, December 7th for the annual St. Joseph Saturday Retreat! This half-day retreat is open to all young adults in their 20s and 30s where we are encouraged to “look upon work with the eyes of faith” and see God’s presence in our vocations and professional lives. The retreat will include talks, group discussion, and prayer, and it will be a time to reflect on the life of YCP's patron saint, St. Joseph the Worker.

Join YAC and Saint Alphonsus YAM for a fun and festive outing at Christkindlmarket at Daley Plaza on Sunday, December 8th! We will meet at Daley Plaza at 1:00 p.m. and explore the market together.


Christkindlmarket is a European Christmas market with shopping, food, and other activities.

Don't miss our Advent community event - St. Nick's Bazaar!

Sunday, December 8, Fireside & School Gym


Join us for our annual Advent community event—St. Nick’s Bazaar on Sunday, December 8th! All ages are warmly invited to this festive celebration: a perfect event to bring nieces & nephews! Enjoy a parish-wide brunch with four reservation times available, complete with mimosas for the adults to toast the season! The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children aged 16 and younger.


Our youngest guests can sign up for a photo with Santa, enjoy some festive face painting and balloon fun, and play some reindeer games until Noon. Plus, don’t forget to stop by and check out our Saint Clement Parish spirit wear will be available for purchase at the Bazaar! You won’t want to miss this jolly celebration of the season and our community!

Join us for Friendsgiving Instead!

 

This week, Wednesday Indoor Volleyball is canceled so that everyone has the chance to join our Young Adult Community Friendsgiving!


Instead of spiking balls, let’s gather to share a meal, give thanks, and connect with friends, old and new. Friendsgiving will be held at the Saint Clement School Fireside on Wednesday, November 20, from 7:00-9:00 p.m.


This potluck-style event is the perfect way to embrace the season of gratitude. Don’t forget to sign up to bring a dish using the link provided! In the spirit of giving, we also invite you to bring 2 canned goods or a $5 donation to support our food drive.

Jesse Tree

Begins weekend of November 23/24


We are so excited for this year's Jesse Tree collection drive! Jesse Tree is a ministry in conjunction with Advent that provides parishioners an opportunity to support 11 local organizations with clothing, toys, gift cards, and other needed items in the spirit of Christmas giving. 


Beginning the weekend of November 23, colored tags will be available on trees in the church and chapel. We invite you to take a tag after Mass or stop by the parish office during office hours. To learn more, check out clement.org/jessetreeGifts are due back to the parish by Saturday, December 14.

Chicago Fair Trade's 2024 Holiday Pop Up Shop

Mondays-Saturdays, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. & Sundays, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. until late December, 663 N. Michigan Avenue


Chicago Fair Trade's 2024 Holiday Pop Up Shop has opened at 663 N. Michigan Avenue, across from the Starbucks Roastery! The shop will be open on Mondays-Saturdays from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. until late December. On Saturday, December 14th, the shop will host "Saint Clement Day" so if you identify as a Saint Clement parishioner, you'll receive 2 fair trade chocolate bars. Our faith calls us to live out our Gospel values on a daily basis. Through fair trade, we can use our economic power to contribute to the common good and live out these values!

Volunteers needed for our Friday Sack Lunch & Hospitality Program!


Every Friday morning, our parish offers breakfast, sack lunches, and welcome to our neighbors in need in front of the parish rectory. This fall, we invite you to consider serving in our Friday ministry, either helping with hospitality or dropping off sack lunches (or both!).


We currently need volunteers for fall dates!

Mission of Our Lady of the Angels (via the Franciscans of the Eucharist) provides hope to the poor on the west side of Chicago via food pantries supporting 4000 families a month, afterschool programs, seniors programs, community meals, and much more.
