YAGP 2025 Season

U.S. Regional Press Highlights

Dear Friends,

After an incredible journey spanning over 45 semi-final auditions worldwide, the YAGP 2025 audition tour concluded last month, with the final regional auditions in NYC and Boca Raton. Now, we eagerly look ahead to the culmination of the season: the YAGP 2025 Season Finals in Tampa, FL, from April 21-27, 2025.

As we approach this exciting finale, we invite you to explore just some of the standout press highlights from this year’s U.S. semi-final tour.

This season saw record-breaking participation across 32 events in the U.S. & Canada, with remarkable talent from coast to coast. Most importantly, and thanks to the continued live-streaming of every YAGP event both in the U.S.and globally - which allows YAGP scholarship-presenting schools to observe every participant that comes to the YAGP stage - more than 4500 scholarship opportunitiehave already been presented to YAGP partner schools worldwide throughout the course of the regional audition tour. For dancers on the cusp of their professional careers, over 75 job offers were presented through the YAGP 2025 Job Fairs in the US and Europe, hosted by Nashville Ballet and the John Cranko School & The Stuttgart Ballet, respectively.

It is safe to say the future of dance has never looked brighter. And we are ever grateful to you - our community of participants, parents, teachers, schools, and friends across the globe - for being part of YAGP’s mission to ensure the future of dance and nurture the next generation of talented and deserving young artists from all over the world.

Whether online or in person, we hope that you will join us for this year’s Finals in Tampa, which will also be live-streamed across YAGP’s social media platforms - ensuring that dance lovers everywhere can be part of the experience.

And don’t miss the YAGP 2025 Season Finals Gala in Tampa on April 26th — or the YAGP New York Gala at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, on April 29th. Both events will feature a star-studded lineup of guest artists from the world’s leading dance companies, alongside some of the most promising young dancers from around the world.

In short, these are performances you don’t want to miss - so stay tuned for more excitement to come!

DANCERS MAKING A DIFFERENCE

A YAGP Gala evening supporting the LA dance community affected by the wildfires

YAGP, in collaboration with the Irvine Barclay Theatre, presented a Gala evening in Orange County in February, in support of California’s dance families affected by wildfires in the Los Angeles area. This unforgettable event, DANCERS MAKING A DIFFERENCE, was a testament to resilience, unity, and the transformative power of dance to literally change lives - as referenced in an inspiring opening video presentation from longtime YAGP friend and guest artist, Misty Copeland.

The one-night-only Gala featured extraordinary performances by guest artists Tiler Peck (Principal Dancer, New York City Ballet) and YAGP alumni Elisabeth Beyer (ABT), Joseph Markey (ABT), Isaac Mueller (Boston Ballet), and Tara Ghassemieh (Principal Guest Artist) with Vitor Luiz (Former Principal Dancer, San Francisco Ballet) - alongside talented young dancers from across California and beyond.

YAGP extends its deepest gratitude to the Barclay Theatre for hosting this incredible evening for the dance community. 100% of the proceeds for the event will be distributed to dance families in need, helping them rebuild and return to the art they cherish.
