Share Your Career Experience with Yale Students!
Sunday, April 15th

A new Yale senior society, the Society of Quorum, was founded upon and deeply committed to the principles of charity, service and purpose. The group of 12 mission-driven individuals have diverse interests and areas of expertise, having spent their time at Yale forming life-long bonds and reflecting critically upon how they will contribute to their communities and society upon graduation.

The students are very interested in learning about the respective journeys of YANA members and how they have managed to find a synergy between purpose and career.  They are also interested in learning ways ways incorporate purpose/mission into their careers, such as  -- medicine, legal, finance, government & policy, non-profits, health & nutrition, fashion, consulting.

We are looking for several YANA members to speak to this new senior society Quorum during a brunch on Sunday, April 15th (location and specific time TBA) in one of the following ways:
-
Alumni Remarks: Event opens with 1 or 2 alumni giving remarks about their own career path, how they've managed to incorporate purpose/mission into their roles, and the sorts of internal debates and questions they asked themselves throughout the journey
-
Breakout Groups: breaking into groups of 3-4, Quorum members vocalize how they hope to pursue mission-driven careers, soliciting the advice of those in the group on how to improve the plan and stay authentic to what it means to commit to "doing good"

Please contact [email protected] if you are interested in joining us and help YANA fulfill its mission of creating community, and connecting alumni expertise with each other and with students to help them build meaningful career paths in the nonprofit and social enterprise sectors.

Thank you!
