When disaster strikes, Yale alumni jump into action.
That spirit of giving back is the heartbeat of YANA, the alumni-led and alumni-funded home for social impact-minded individuals.
Take, for example, Marcia Hodge '06 MSN, YANA's Caribbean Chapter lead. When Hurricane Beryl devastated Carriacou earlier this year, Marcia and the YANA Caribbean Team mobilized their network to secure more than 500 pounds of needed medical supplies for the island. This fall, they’ve continued to raise awareness and organize critical relief efforts to support Carriacou’s 10,000 residents.
This is YANA in action: alumni-led initiatives, driven by a shared commitment to create meaningful impact in times of need.
From disaster relief to mentoring nonprofits, matching leaders to boards, and guiding social entrepreneurs, YANA empowers alumni to channel their skills and passions into service. But this work depends on your support.
