Business After Hours Recap
Over 100 Attendees for Yarmouth Boat Yard Business After Hours
Ho-ly cow, what an amazing turnout for our May Chamber After Hours. We had 92 RSVPs and though not all made it, there were more walk-ins who hadn’t registered to make up for it as over 100 people came out to Yarmouth Boat Yard Wednesday night to celebrate all they do, and to network with Chamber members and local business leaders.
Thank you to Tracy Coughlin and Andie Loos for their hard work as hosts (and to the entire Yarmouth Boat Yard/Freedom Boat Club crew who helped get the space ready).
Thank you to the Madeline Point Oysters for their contributions as well as Definitive Brewing Company and Rising Tide Brewery for the drinks.
Thank you to Jess Wright for the acoustic guitar entertainment, as well as Bruce White from Sea Tow, Todd McKee from Point Sebago and the team from Barefoot Marine Decking who, as partners of Yarmouth Boat Yard, set up display tables.
But mostly, thank you to all of those in attendance. Having such a big turnout really speaks well of the momentum we are building at the YCC, and I had at least a dozen people who came up and told me this is the first chamber event they have attended in more than a year, which is fantastic!
The impact of the chamber is directly related to how many people engage with it, so thank you, thank you, thank you. Let’s keep that momentum going at our next YCC Business After Hours at Owl & Elm on June 26 (details below).
