Chamber Member Hans H. Wiesner, ASLA recently earned distinction as an ISA-Certified Arborist- Municipal Specialist. Hans is a Registered Landscape Architect as well as a LEED Accredited professional.  He continues to work in the family business, Wiesner Bros. Nursery,  which has been family owned and operated since 1928 on Staten Island. The business also serves as a Landscape Architecture practice Wiesner Landscape Architecture, P.C.  Hans and his family continue to advance the green industry in NYC, with the fourth generation coming into the business. Assembly proposal would bring millions to Staten Island for a North Shore bus rapid transit

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The state Assembly has included $100 million in its budget proposal for bus rapid transit programs throughout the state, including one on Staten Island.

 

The funding bill for the Regional Bus Rapid Transit and Transportation Alternatives Program is sponsored by Assemblyman Matthew Titone (D-North Shore) and will be divvied up across the state. -----> Click here to read the full story!
