April 14, 2022
Good Afternoon,

Today our 1st graders enjoyed Hoover! Thank you to our chaperones for joining!

Next Wednesday (4/20) launches our first Outdoor Seeker club! Please see below for important details!

A friendly reminder that tomorrow and Monday are non attendance days! We encourage students to keep up with Lexia, Dreambox, and Baggie Books over the long weekend.

Mark your calendar: On Monday, May 23rd YGS will be presenting at the School Board's Heart of the Fox at 7 p.m. in the YHS library. Come watch our heartfelt video that will look back on our 2 year journey *together* We hope you can join us!

It's hard to believe there are less than 2 months left this school year. I realized this even more this week as I plan my youngest child's 5th birthday & register her for kindergarten.
As I think about what I want for her next year, I come back to one thing: connection.
Today we ended with a dance party. Music has become a big part of YGS especially during the last years of social distancing. It's small moments of connection that our kids will remember most. This week reminded me of just that.

Our YGS team looks forward to an exciting spring season ahead.

For those celebrating on Sunday: Happy Easter!
