Spring Break continues through Monday this week. Students return to school on Tuesday, April 3rd. I hope you have enjoyed the week with your family and have had some time to rest and relax. It is hard to believe there are only 8 more weeks of school remaining. I look forward to this final quarter with the students and a strong finish!

April is going to be a busy month at YGS! We have two author visits, a musical, the art show/ice cream social, and the Daddy Daughter Dance! Please be sure to read the flyers and calendar events listed below to ensure you are aware of the fun that is taking place at YGS this month!

Enjoy the remainder of the break and if your family celebrates Easter, I wish you a day of celebration tomorrow. I look forward to seeing the kids on Tuesday!

No problem! If your child needs to leave early from school, please inform the office by sending a note or calling prior to 3pm.  The office will be sure to inform your child's teacher and the teacher will ensure your child is packed and ready to be dismissed when requested. However, the office will not call your child down, nor will the teacher send your child down to the office, until you have arrived to pick them up. There could be a change in your plans, such as traffic, which may impact your arrival time. We want to make sure we maximize the amount of instruction time your child has. As soon as you arrive for pick up, we will call your child down to be dismissed. Thank you for understanding and please let the office know if you have questions.
