The Downtown Improvement District has created a COVID-19 resource page and continue to update it each week. We know that these are uncertain times, but please know that the we are here to support you however we can.






YLNI Farmers Market
The YLNI Farmers Market opens on Saturday, May 16. Every vendor is local, coming from Allen or surrounding counties. The market is open from May through September on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the corner of Wayne and Barr Streets.




Ft. Wayne's Farmers Market
Join them on Saturday, May 16 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Parkview Field as they kick off their outdoor season. All of the vendors will move outdoors around the concourse on the first official outdoor day.




Lunch on Your Couch
Your Downtown Improvement District is kicking off the summer fun early this year with Lunch on Your Couch, a weekly series of Facebook Live concerts and fun restaurant giveaways.




Downtown Fort Wayne Partners with Waiter on the Way for Free Delivery: Extended until June 15!
Waiter on the Way has also added a function to their checkout system that allows customers the ability to tip both the restaurant staff and the delivery driver, allowing the restaurant to better support its staff.




Art This Way: Artist Call for Entry
These murals will be on the east-facing exterior wall of 222 Pearl Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802. This project is meant to make use of the cement header, the orange cinder block squares and, for some murals, and the window inset. Murals should account for the scale and scope of the wall. Each prospectus is for one of the seven cinderblock-filled loading door spaces. 




Overhead Sculpture Design Challenge Launched for Downtown Alley Entrance
The City of Fort Wayne's Community Development Division, Art This Way and the Fort Wayne Public Art Commission are inviting architects, designers, engineers, and artists from around the world to take part in the Off the Wall design challenge to create an overhead sculpture in Downtown Fort Wayne.
