VIRTUAL CELEBRATION
Join us for a virtual experience as we celebrate the YMCA of the Capital Area's impact, thank our donors and honor YMCA volunteers.

The virtual event will take place on the YMCABR Facebook page from April 12 -15 and will include compelling videos and stories of impact for everyone to enjoy.

Also during the event, we will recognize key volunteers who have dedicated their time and talents to help make an impact in our community.
YMCA SUMMER CAMP
Summer is a time for kids to be kids and Y summer camp is the place to make every summer day a precious one! 

The Y will offer a variety of camps this summer. Campers can choose from adventure camp, arts and creativity camp, mind camp, discovery camp and sports camp. Registration is now open and space is limited so register today! 
YMCA SWIMMING LESSONS
Summer is the perfect time to get children involved in swim lessons. As America’s Swim Instructor, the Y is the most accessible community resource to prevent drowning and encourage a lifelong enjoyment of swimming. The Y offers swimming lessons for anyone ages six months of age and older. Click here to learn more and to register.

Join our team! Come to one of the two YMCA of the Capital Area job fairs that will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 and Friday, April 23, 2021 from 9am-noon at the A.C. Lewis YMCA!  Interviews will be conducted onsite at the event.

ESPORTS
We are excited to launch the Y’s Esports leagues and tournaments! Esports is a video game competition for individuals and teams. Gamers in the Y's leagues and tournaments will enjoy game play in Super Smash Bros, Rocket League, and NBA 2K21.

Participants will engage in games from the comfort of their home, and coming soon, at the Y. The Y Esports room will feature PC and Console gaming stations featuring high-fidelity visuals, Nintendo Switch consoles and comfortable seating.

SUMMER SPORTS
In YMCA Youth Sports, there are no tryouts and no one gets cut from the teams. Everyone who registers is assigned to a team and all players have the opportunity for equal playing time in games, teaching participants valuable social and teamwork skills and contributing to a healthier community.

The Y will offer basketball, baseball and cheerleading for children ages 3-17. Registration will be available from April 19 through May 23. Click here for more information.
