Bring a friend or significant other and experience another culture from around the world! Dance instructors and chefs from the community will lead each two-part session, focusing on a different culture each time. Participants begin the evening on our stage for dance instruction, followed y time spent in our teaching kitchen preparing and enjoying dishes representative of our highlighted culture. Childcare provided.

Our future chefs will take an "American Road Trip" and prepare foods representing different regions in America, incorporating harvested vegetables and fruits from our community garden. This plot to plate process will develop fundamental culinary skill such as: knife skills, sauteeing, roasting, braising, baking and fresh preparations that will highlight the importance of healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle.

Wing Chung is a very unique and scientific form of martial arts, originating from China and later refined in Hong Kong. Due to its effectiveness this martial art makes for an effective form for self defense. You will learn basic ways to protect yourself, proper punching and kicking techniques, meditative movements for relaxation and get a great workout.

This six week program aims to help participants perform the activities of daily life more easily and without injuries. Classes incorporate functional fitness moves along with strength, core and balance work. This class is held at High Street Baptist Church.

Dance Fusion

Dance Fusion is designed to give children the experience of studying several different genres of movement. Time will be spent studying the history and techniques of ballet, jazz, hop hop, modern and contemporary dance, as well as developing the skills to practice longer movement combinations. The final class will be followed by a public showing for children to showcase their new skills.
