Roseville Cares for Harambee Elementary

Roseville Cares is a collaborative community initiative to encourage and

spotlight acts of caring, kindness, inclusion, mutual respect, and to celebrate

the everyday ways people show compassion. The goal is to bring together

community groups, faith communities, businesses, and other community

members to make good things happen in our community.

Roseville Cares has an urgent opportunity to make a difference for students

at Harambee Elementary. The school needs two sensory classrooms ready

by September for incoming kindergarten students with special needs, while

also providing calming spaces that benefit all students. These classrooms

help children regulate emotions, focus, and succeed from their very first day

of school.

🎉 Thanks to an anonymous donor, we've already raised $5,000 toward the

$11,589 needed.

Now we need to raise the remaining $6,589 by the end of September. Every

gift, big or small, will help ensure these students have the support they need

on day one.

Future-Proof Your Leadership: How to Navigate Change Without Getting in Your Own Way

Change isn't slowing down. Expectations are shifting, uncertainty is constant, and the ways we've always worked and led aren't necessarily going to get us where we need to go next. So why is meaningful change still so hard, even when we know it's necessary?

In this engaging and interactive session, Dr. Rosie Ward will unpack what actually gets in the way of change and what it takes to lead ourselves and others through disruption with greater courage, adaptability and humanity. Building on her previous work focused on rehumanizing workplaces, Rosie will explore the hidden patterns and outdated "programming" that can cause us to resist change, cling to what's familiar or unintentionally get in our own way. More importantly, she'll offer practical ways to recognize those patterns, respond differently and create the conditions where people can navigate uncertainty and move forward together.

You will leave with a fresh perspective on why change is so difficult, practical tools you can use immediately and a clearer understanding of what it means to show up as a future-ready leader- no matter your title or role.
