As the COVID-19 Vaccine continues to roll out there is much confusion as Connecticut enters Phase 1B which includes Seniors who are 75 and older. We have been alerted that one huge obstacle is that registration for the vaccine is on line and the person registering is required to have their own unique email!
We know this process will continue to evolve/change and update, but we wanted to provide you with some points that will hopefully support the community.
Please share THIS RESOURCE with all your friends / family ages 75+
Masks will continue to be required of all members including those who have received the vaccine. We will continue to follow the CDC guidelines as shared below. Thank you for your cooperation!!

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILTY:
The Northern Middlesex YMCA is delighted to announce receipt of a $5,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County to support our efforts in serving the community through our Distance Learning Support Program. Learn more about the Distance Learning Support Program @ the Y
YMCA of the USA Board Chair Pamela Davies and President and CEO Kevin Washington penned an open letter to President Biden and Vice President Harris asking them to prioritize legislation that will help YMCAs continue to provide vital services to our communities.
We are here for the community. If possible, please be here for us! This spring, when nonprofits and other organizations closed their doors to slow the spread of Covid-19, YMCAs across the country lost revenue from memberships and fees for programs that were canceled. The Northern Middlesex YMCA is currently down 2 million dollars in revenue. Now more than ever, we need your support to make sure the YMCA is able to continue to serve the community for years to come. This loss of resource has created both short and long term challenges for our organization.

During these unprecedented times, your support helps the Y continue to offer:

  • safe health and wellness programming,
  • childcare for working families
  • food and healthy living support for the men residing at the YMCA

We are here for the community. Please be here for us.

Despite all odds, the Northern Middlesex YMCA remains dedicated to serving the needs of your community and the people in it. As a 501 (c)3 charitable non-profit, the Y needs your support to keep going. Please join us TODAY to make a difference in your community. Click on the image below to GIVE or learn more about GIVING opportunities!
