GERMANY and AUSTRIA
Well since arriving back from Germany and Austria I have to tell you that I was struck down by something horrible which resulted in me, ending up in hospital with complete kidney failure. That was on the 11th July and I am only just now beginning to feel myself again, although energy levels are still somewhat depleted. I am still having blood tests and doctor appointments, but am heading in the right direction.
Hurrah!!!
Unfortunately it has meant all that planned drawing and creative work has not been done, but I am surrounded by it as I write this so that is a good sign.
The exhibition in Germany went well and is still running until the 8th of September. Austria was also fun seeing all the family again and visiting a few places. Below is a sculpture park that we visited.
I just loved this sculpture park. It was closed when we went, so could not look inside the museum, but could see all the amazing sculptures outside. I was particularly taken by the marks in the wood, made both naturally and by hand. Some of the works were monumental.
Here I am with Martin and three of my cousins having a relaxing day on the beautiful
Wörthersee Lake.
