Dear Partners,
The MPP Backbone Team is pleased to invite you to the Partnership's annual Cradle-to-Career Summit, to be held throughout October 2021.
Marin Promise Partnership Cradle-to-Career Summit: October 2021
For the past two years, Marin Promise Partners have convened in the early fall for the Partnership’s annual Cradle-to-Career Summit. Once again, the 2021 Summit will bring together CBO & school partners, leaders, and community members to work side-by-side across sectors, roles and geographies.
This year, the Backbone Team will be hosting a series of virtual panel discussions throughout the month of October to provide opportunities for partners to learn from each other, deepen partnership relationships, and work together to align efforts.
Virtual panels will take place on the following dates & times:
- Tuesday, October 12, 2021 3:30 - 5PM
- Tuesday, October 19, 2021 3:30 - 5PM
- Tuesday, October 26, 2021 3:30 - 5PM
Depending on public health conditions and partner interest, the Backbone Team may also host opportunities for in-person networking & shared learning.
Any partner who RSVPs to the Marin Promise Partnership Cradle to Career Summit by THIS Thursday September 23 will also be eligible to receive a free registration to the 2021 StriveTogether Network Convening.
StriveTogether Network Convening - October 4-8, 2021
Every year, StriveTogether brings together the power of its national movement for an event dedicated to connecting, learning and creating change. Last year, more than 50 Marin Promise Partners attended the virtual programming, and many have remained engaged through StriveTogether’s Network learning spaces, such as Affinity Groups, Role-alike calls, and Collaborative Action Coaching sessions.
This year we will learn from the histories of our communities and our movement; those who have come before us and the new leaders emerging in this moment. These roots feed our determination to rise: to transform the systems of this country so that Black, Indigenous, Latinx and Asian youth and youth living in poverty will thrive.
