Phase IV & V Update

As you know, your Reimagine Magnolia Village team has been working toward finalizing Phases IV & V of the beautification project. We've made steady progress in securing final permits to begin installations of new seating and poles along 32nd Ave W and 33rd Ave W. For more details about Phases IV & V, please scroll through our News page to the blog.

With your generosity, we're closer to making Magnolia Village one of the city’s most inviting and appealing public spaces. Donations this year enabled the beautiful and bountiful flower baskets this summer, the cleaning of the red umbrellas, and other essential maintenance activities. Thank you for your support and commitment to our neighborhood.

We anticipate a formal launch of Phases IV & V in early 2023. Below, we offer a sneak preview of the streetscape improvements and look forward to sharing more detailed renderings in the weeks ahead.

We hope we can count on you to invest in Magnolia Village beautification again, and we look forward to sharing more details about a formal kick-off event soon.

Also, please remember the Reimagine Magnolia Village project in your end-of-the-year giving. We anticipate that our fundraising goals for Phases IV & V will be upward of $250,000. Your tax-deductible gift by December 31, 2022, will ensure that we reach our goal and that Magnolia Village is the most welcoming, engaging, and beautiful business district in Seattle!

The Magic of the Season is in Magnolia Village

‘Tis the season for holiday merriment in Magnolia Village. The annual lights adorning trees will go up soon, thanks to the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce. To invest in the holiday lights in Magnolia Village, please click here, and choose “holiday lights” in the drop-down menu. Your gift today lights up our Village during the holiday season.

On November 19th, Reimagine Magnolia Village volunteers will install the beautiful holiday wreaths on the decorative poles along W. McGraw Street from 32nd Ave W. to 35th Ave. W. We’re excited to join the Magnolia Chamber in welcoming back Winterfest 2022 and ensuring Magnolia Village is holiday-ready on Saturday, December 3rd.

A special shout-out of deep appreciation to Patty Tronquet, who will again design the uniquely stunning bows that will grace the wreaths. Thank you, Patty, for sharing your immense talents and skills.

Thank you!

From Cheryl McQuiston, Magnolia Beautification Chair, and the committee members, thank you for supporting Reimagine Magnolia Village Project. We are amazed at what you and other donors have been able to do since we launched the project in the fall of 2019. You have made our Magnolia Village a great place to meet and dine, enjoy friends and family, and support our merchants and business owners.

We are excited to announce that the Reimagine Magnolia Village Legacy Tree, honoring those donors who have given $2500 or more to the beautification project, will be installed soon. The Reimagine Magnolia Village Legacy Tree is a permanent reminder of how we invested in our neighborhood and worked together to make our Village a vibrant place for pedestrians, shoppers, and diners and safer, more appealing public spaces.

Luckily, there is lots of space available on the legacy tree for you and other donors who contribute $2500 or more to the Reimagine Magnolia Village project. Please reach out to Cheryl at 206-390-8698 or [email protected] to check on your total donations to date and what you need to do to secure your name on the Reimagine Magnolia Village Legacy Tree.
