This year we delivered a record 257 holiday gifts to seniors, including all of the residents at Symphony Manor and Jennie B. Nursing Homes. Nominators were encouraged to ask seniors what they needed or wanted, and we added blankets, puzzle books and
this year, all seniors also received a cuddly stuffed animal. The response was magical, as they pulled the animals out of the bag and hugged and kissed them. One recipient wrote "the bear sits at my dining room table and looks like I have a guest for dinner!"
We'd like to thank each of you who took the time to nominate a senior for a gift and thank all of you who purchased every single item from our Amazon Wish List or donated handmade items. Special thanks to corporate sponsor GEICO, and Great Erie Federal Credit Union and Larkin Center of Commerce, who held donation drives for us.
