GoServ Global 2017 Banquet Recap

Sunny & Kuni at the GoServ Global Banquet.

Sunny & Kuni spent three weeks in Iowa,   visiting supporters, churches, mission committees, schools, VBS's, and attending the GoServ Global board retreat. They also had a chance to speak at the GoServ Global banquet.  The goal of their trip was to meet their supporters and team members who have travelled to India over the past 5 years, along with the churches who have prayed and supported them financially.

One of the needs at Emmanuel Boarding School is for child sponsorships. Approximately 80 students attend the boarding school. If you're interested in transforming a life, choose a child to sponsor  here!

Inheritance Church now has a new band.

The Inheritance E-Free Church/Christian School is coming along. Guatemala Missionary Mark Lee has worked hard the past six months meeting with a variety of people, chasing down all legal requirements for opening a school.  The goal has been to open the school January of 2018. It will take an act of God to meet that goal as the school building is far from ready.
The church body has continued to grow as we wrestle with the truth of God's word against the traditions of the local church bodies. The Guatemalan church is ruled by legalism and the Christian life is more about following rules and less about relationships with our Lord and Savior. Due to a lack of education, these church traditions or legalism become huge golden calves for those in the church and huge stumbling blocks for those outside the church.

Mission teams are needed to serve in Guatemala. If you're interested in putting toge ther a mission team, email Mark at mark3lee@alpinecom.net. Funds are also needed to complete the church/school and can be made online at

More 104.9's Kevin Tlam interviews Chris & Michelle Rasmussen at the GoServ Global banquet about their move to Haiti.
Chris & Michelle Rasmussen and family of Storm Lake, IA joined GoServ Global to  serve as full-time missionaries in Les Cayes, Haiti. The Rasmussens, along with sons Elias (7 years old) and Gabriel (4 years old), are leaving this week. Please keep them in prayer.

Thanks to generous donors, land has been purchased to build a new church across from the Consolation Center that will serve the entire community. Work will begin this summer!

The birthing center will also begin soon in Camp Perrin out of 8 Safe T Homes. We are excited about this project as well as the need is great.
Rivenson and band entertains attendees at the banquet.
Rivenson led worship at the banquet once again this year, along with GoServ Global Ambassador Jordan Moffitt (drums) and Aaron Larson.

Matchlight Records released Rivenson's first album that's available on iTunes here or by CD here. Get yours today!

A recent team shares at Genesis Church.
Genesis Church is expanding the walls of the sanctuary to accommodate the growing congregation!

Several teams have served in Peru over the past month with another team expected to go in August.

In addition, a donation has been made for the chapel/dining hall at Hidden Creeks Bible Camp so work will begin on that.

Donors are now able to visit the GoServ Global website and see all the children who are sponsored as well as those who need sponsorship thanks to new software.

Sponsorship makes such a difference in the life of a child. If you don't currently sponsor a child through GoServ Global, we encourage you to check out our website - http://goservglobal.org/sponsor-a-child-2/.
