FROM THE COUNSELING OFFICE

Dear students,

As you begin final exams week, I want to share again a prayer that I found personally comforting in my days as a student; please know that I am praying that our loving God will provide you with His comfort and wisdom this week!

Lord in opening myself up to evaluation, critique, and judgment, let me be open to your will in my life; give me your strength and support as I face the challenge that has been placed before me.

When I am filled with anxiety and trepidation, and failures of the past threaten to undermine possibilities in the present, help me to accept my true vocation: to see beyond the uncertainty of the future by resting in your steadfast love. Touch this moment with a grace filled perspective that will transform my need for results into an opportunity to deepen my understanding of your plan for my life. Help me to listen to the successes and failures, and discover any gifts that will help me be an expression of your love in the world. I place this and all moments in your hands, trusting in your will, and opening my heart to your love. AMEN.

This year has been full of spiritual, professional, and personal growth for me and I pray that you can say the same.  May you have a rejuvenating and safe summer break and return to us in August 2019 full of hope and ready to embark on what God has planned for you during the next school year!
