A
MESSAGE FROM MRS. POWERS
Dear Parents,
It is hard to believe that the school year is nearly over. I know the students are anxiously waiting for summer activities to begin, but I am saddened by the realization that my time at Eden is coming to an end.
It has been a wonderful adventure these past 19 years as I have watched students grow - physically, socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually
- from preschool through high school.
I have seen students, who were so shy they could barely ask a question in class, overcome many obstacles and later stand in front at the All School Chapel to lead worship. I have observed students that struggled with their faith, grow up to lead their friends to Christ. It has been an honor to witness students persevere through academic challenges and walk across the platform for the victor’s academic prize of a high school diploma.
I will miss you all, but I have wonderful memories
that will be with me always. I leave assured that God has provided a wonderful leader for the Wexford campus; Mrs. Bordo will carry the baton from here. You are in very capable hands as God has trained her up “for such a time as this”.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to partner with you at Eden. I pray God’s blessing on the school and all the families God brings inside its doors.
May you and your family have a wonderful summer.
In His Service,
Carrie A. Powers
Wexford Campus Principal
