A.1.   2019 Florida Legislative Session Summary:   $21,250,028 is recommended by the 2019 Florida Legislature in SB 2500 -- the proposed State FY 2019-20 appropriations/budget bill -- to fund the 2019-20 Florida Department of State (DOS) Division of Cultural Affairs (DCA) matching grants.  These numbers are not final until Governor DeSantis takes official action on SB 2500.

A.4.   Arts & Culture Day 2020 in Tallahassee is January 22.

A.5.  Appreciate and continue to build relationships and greater understanding about the value of DOS DCA matching grants with  your legislators.   Engage them and their staff in your local arts, arts education, and cultural programs, events, and services.  Here is contact information on those legislators who represent your county -- download and locate your county's Excel worksheet.
