Partner Shout-Out: Joe Kirk
|
Joe Kirk, realtor with Lakes Sotheby's International Realty, was first exposed to Amplify after receiving an invitation from Julie to the virtual fundraiser in 2020. Kirk shared, "I have been a proud sponsor of the annual fundraiser since and can't believe the growth Amplify has experienced in the last four and a half years."
Over the past four years, Kirk has generously given his time to numerous nonprofit leaders as a coach, consultant, and mentor.
Kirk shared, "One of my favorite experiences was being a coach for Ashley Moore with C.A.S.T. Seeing Ashley present at Amplify and get focused and actionable feedback from the audience meant the world to me. It speaks to the real reason we all get involved and that is to give."
A natural connector, Joe has taken an active role in sharing about Amplify's work in the community and inviting like-minded individuals into Amplify. Most recently he invited more than 30 people to our fundraising event! He also facilitated an invitation for Amplify to speak at his local Rotary club and share as a guest on the Searching for Service podcast, hosted by his wife, Kelly.

"I have always loved the idea of helping those who are doing good in this world. If that isn't Amplify I don't know what is. These emerging ministries have bootstrapped their organizations and most times are seeking ways to scale or take advantage of opportunities they would like to explore. The power of one person in the room making a difference for these ministries is incredible - and it happens more often than not. I am impacted each and every time I am part of an Amplify meeting. It's hard not to be when you are in a room full of people who want to help others improve and grow."
Thank you Joe for so generously giving your time, talent, and network to bring meaningful impact to Amplify!

30 Nonprofit Leaders Join Learning Academy Cohorts
|
Amplify's Learning Academy recently entered its seventh year, welcoming two new cohorts of nonprofit leaders enrolled in the Nonprofit Leader Track and Mid Management Track.
The first of nine monthly Learning Academy workshop sessions kicked off on Thursday, September 12 at Treehouse in St. Louis Park. A special thanks to Peter Bailey, President of the Prouty Project, for starting us off with an engaging and insightful session on Leading and Aligning with Insights.
Through the Learning Academy, Nonprofit Directors gather for one large group workshop style session and one small group mastermind session each month. Topics range from digital marketing, program evaluation, fundraising strategies, exploratory leadership, and more!
Participating in this year's Learning Academy tracks, are a record number 30 nonprofit leaders representing 26 organizations.
To enhance the learning, each nonprofit leader enrolled in the Learning Academy is paired up with an Amplify partner who serves as a mentor, offering encouragement, support, and a place to process what they are learning!
URGENT NEED:
If you are interested in serving as a mentor for one of the nonprofit leaders enrolled in our Learning Academy, please let us know. We still have a few spots left to fill this week! Contact julie@amplifymission.org.

"It’s a privilege to support the development of these nonprofit leaders who are so tirelessly serving in communities here and around the world. I look forward to seeing how this group will grow, collaborate, and amplify their impact to serve their communities even more effectively in the months ahead."
