2025 Ben Scott Sports Auction Tickets are on sale NOW

The 38th annual Ben Scott Sports Auction will be held Friday, March 21, at the University of West Georgia Coliseum. Tickets are $125 and include admission for two to the event and an automatic entry into a cash raffle. The top prize is $10,000, with other drawings for $250, $750, and $1,000. 500 - Milestone victory for Trojan Esports program

CARROLLTON, GA - Trojan Esports notched its 500th program victory Wednesday, Feb. 26, hitting the mark in just six years. Carrollton High School added Esports in fall 2018, its first year offered, and named Robby Blakemore head coach. The program, which began with one sport, two teams and 12 players, has grown to eight sports, 18 teams and 76 members.

Trojan golf takes fourth straight win at Ironman Challenge

The CHS varsity golf team won the 36-hole Ironman Challenge at Cherokee Golf and Country Club on Saturday, March 1. It was the program's fourth consecutive victory in the event. The team finished with a two-round score of 612, led by Edward Fleck (73), Mackinnley Yarbrough (74) and Tristan Morin (74), who posted the lowest scores.

Trojan track and field earns first team win of the season

The CHS varsity track and field team won the Cartersville Purple Hurricane Invitational on Saturday, March 1. The team scored 116 points, dominating the competition. The next closest team scored 65. Kadan Spratiling, Tarrell Miles and CJ Gamble led the Trojans in the throws. Eli Slappey, Kamai Umiamaka and Izear Wimberly also had strong performances. The team competes again on Tuesday, March 4, at Westlake.

Trojan girls golf kicks off season with Lady Trojan Swing

The CHS varsity girls golf team opened the 2025 season with a third-place finish out of 23 teams at the Lady Trojan Swing at Fairfield Plantation GC. The best-ball team of Adeline Laney and Mady Simpson placed sixth in a field of 48 two-girl best-ball teams. The team competes Tuesday, March 4, in the Brookstone Invitational and Saturday, March 8, in the Lady Rambler Invitational.
