CHS boys track and field finishes runner-up at GHSA Championships

CARROLLTON, GA — The Carrollton High School track and field team finished second with 70 team points at the GHSA championships this past weekend. On Friday, May 9, Tarrell Miles captured the shot put championship with a throw of 59-3.25, setting the tone for the Trojans.

Four CHS student-athletes sign letters of intent to play at the next level

CARROLLTON, GA — Four Carrollton High School student-athletes were recognized on Wednesday, May 7, for deciding to further their education and play at the next level. CHS athlete honored by Positive Athlete organization

Carrollton High School sophomore Will Mobley has been named a Top 7 Positive Athlete winner for track and field in the West Georgia area. This honor makes him eligible for a statewide award announced later this month. In addition, he will also be recognized at the Georgia Positive Athlete Awards Ceremony in June. The Positive Athlete organization annually recognizes high school athletes who exemplify traits of optimism, putting team first, encouragement, respect, admitting imperfections, having a true heart for others, and embracing service. Mobley is among the top 3% of nominees in the 2024-25 program cycle.
