Trojan boys and girls cross country finish strong at state meet

The CHS boys and girls cross country teams wrapped up their season in a significant way on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the GHSA state meet. The boys placed fourth, making the podium after narrowly missing it last season. Their success was bolstered by four freshmen running in their first championship meet, all finishing in the top 60. Dash Brackin led the way with a runner-up finish in 16:04.59. Camp Jennings placed 18th, scoring critical points for the team, while Stephen Woznicki and Drew Woznicki secured 51st and 59th, respectively. The girls battled to an 11th-place finish, led by sophomore Blythe Browning, who placed 53rd overall. Seniors Allison Batts, MaryPayton Rogers, Jaylyn Rooks, and Emily Whipple capped their careers with top-80 finishes.

TROJANS secure 13th consecutive region title

BUFORD, GA - The Carrollton High School cheer team continued their long-standing winning streak this past Saturday at Buford High School, claiming their 13th consecutive region championship. The Trojans finished with their second-best score of the competition season and have earned a spot in the top 16 for the GHSA state championships, which will take place this Saturday at the Macon Coliseum.

Trojan football back at home for playoff start


Round 1 of the GHSA football playoffs begins this Friday night as the Trojans host the Dacula Falcons. The program secured its 34th region championship on Nov. 1 with a 49-28 win over Douglas County. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., and the gates will open at 6:00 p.m. For all other gameday information, including purchasing tickets and broadcast information, click here.

The CHS varsity football team is entering the postseason, with the first playoff game scheduled for this Friday, Nov. 15, against Dacula. Please see the information below to secure your reserved seats for any home playoff game. 


For Season Ticket Holders

  • Purchase links: An email with a Go Fan link has been sent to season ticket holders for this week's game to purchase their usual seats.
  • Priority deadline: Season ticket holders have until Wednesday of each game week (for home games) to secure their seats. 
  • Public sale: Any unsold seats will open to the general public on Thursday at 8:00 a.m.

Note: Parking passes remain valid for all home games during the playoffs.

Girls Night Out returns to Carrollton High School


Basketball returns to Criswell Court on Saturday, Nov. 16, for the annual Girls Night Out event hosted by the Trojan girls basketball program. The event features 16 teams, 13 of which are currently ranked in the top 10 in their classifications. This is one of the largest one-day basketball events in the Southeast. The Trojans will face Class AAAAAA runner-up River Ridge in a highly anticipated matchup at 7:00 p.m.
