CHS Athlete of the Week: Kalani Witherspoon

Each week, in the Trojan Ticker, we honor a CHS athlete of the week. This athlete demonstrates what it means to be a Trojan on and off the field. This week's athlete is Senior Kalani Witherspoon.

Head Track Coach Wymon Kelley had this to say about Kalani Witherspoon:

"Kalani is an exceptional individual who has achieved remarkable feats at Carrollton High School. She excelled as a state champion in both 100-meter hurdles and gymnastics. She holds both spots as the all-time leader in the 100-meter hurdles and second all-time leader in the 300-meter hurdles at Carrollton High School. We can only imagine the countless hours of practice, perseverance, and the unwavering focus that led her to these extraordinary achievements. Her success is not just a result of her own hard work. She carries the love and support of her family deep within her heart. They have been her biggest cheerleaders, guiding her every step of the way. And as she stands on the podium, accepting her accolades, her greatest joy will be knowing that she has made her family incredibly proud. As she prepares to embark on the next chapter of her journey at Memphis University, we know that she will continue to shine brightly, leaving a lasting legacy here at Carrollton High School. She may be donning the colors of a Tiger, but she will forever remain a Trojan at heart. Her indomitable spirit and unyielding determination will undoubtedly propel her to even greater heights."

Congratulations, Kalani, on all your accomplishments!
