Ten CHS athletes commit to play at the next level on National Signing Day

Ten Carrollton High School students were recognized on National Signing Day Nov. 9 for their commitment to further their education at the next level. Students recognized at the ceremony are Cade Cosper, Kanija Daniel, Eghosa Obasuyi, Isabella Ellerbee, Olivia Mason, Kyla Harley, Juls Batts, Kaila Phillips, Phineas McClendon, and Will Taylor.

There were four seconds left in the first half. Quarterback Julian Lewis caught the snap, tossed a lateral pass to Seth Childers in the right flat. Childers took a few steps, shifted his shoulders into a throwing stance, and launched the football. Streaking from left to right in the end zone, running back Bryce Hicks ran underneath and secured the catch.

Help us pack Grisham for second round of playoffs FRIDAY, Nov. 18

The Trojans will take on Marietta for the second round of the 7A state playoffs on FRIDAY, Nov. 18 at 7:30 pm at Grisham Stadium. All reserved seats will be available to current season ticket holders at the Squire Shop Monday, Nov. 14 through Wednesday, Nov. 16. On Thursday, November 17, all tickets remaining will be available for purchase by the general public. General admission tickets can be purchased through GoFan HERE or at the gate Friday night. Tickets are $10 each.

Seventh grade football team captures championship title

Congratulations to the seventh-grade football team on capturing the championship title on Saturday, beating Roswell 22-12! The eighth-grade team fought hard but came up short Saturday in the championship game, 20-18. The sixth-grade team had a great season but fell to North Forsyth in the semi-finals. The fifth-grade football team competes in the championship game Saturday, Nov. 19. The future is bright in Trojan Nation!
