Women’s Bible Study

Women’s Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, June 13th for the last session of Celebrating Sabbath. We will meet at 12:15 (VBS ends at noon) in Fellowship Hall. Please bring your bagged or boxed lunch. Dessert and beverages will be provided. After we fellowship during lunch, Melody will lead us in our discussion. Please join us, even if you have only been able to be with us for one or two sessions. Presbyterian Women’s Birthday Offering Picnic

Presbyterian Women’s Birthday Offering Picnic is happening on June 22 at 11:30 am in Polley Fellowship Hall. All women are invited to attend, bringing their favorite salad to share. Dessert and beverages will be provided. A brief Dedication Service for the 2023 Birthday Offering will take place. This year’s Bible passage for the service is Galatians 6: 9-10: So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up. So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith. This traditional gathering of women is always fun – the decorated tables with beautiful favors will be waiting for you!

This summer we will look at where we see encouragement in our faith outside the Bible, by looking at song lyrics, poems and short stories that have encouraged us to live in faith. I need your help, think about songs, poems and short stories in your life that you have come across that have inspired your faith.
