What you need to know!

The Wave Youth are taking over BOTH Sunday morning services on this day! All youth who want to participate will have an opportunity to serve as part of both services such as speaking, reading, greeting and ushering.

THIS SUNDAY: November 2nd - REHEARSAL for Youth Sunday

• A full rehearsal will take place this week from 12:00-1:00pm after S.S. and Lunch to prepare for the following Sunday.

November 9th - YOUTH SUNDAY!

7:00am-12:00am.

• PARENTS: Please read each point carefully and call Ryan with any questions. Also, we want to see you in the congregation for at least one of these services!
• It is important that all Youth who are participating be present to help with BOTH services- Pickup time is 12:00 from the Sanctuary, after the 11:00am service concludes.
• Youth Worship Team should arrive at church for music rehearsal at 7:00am
• All other Youth Participants should arrive no later than 8:00am for a brief walk through.
• We will enjoy a special breakfast together in between the services!

Youth "dig" deep on the Volleyball court!

We recently had the opportunity to go see some of our epic Wave Youth play their final 2 games of the season. Emerson, Emma and Izzy all play for their school team, Redeemer Lutheran. They have been growing into their volleyball skills exceptionally well over the past few years and it was AMAZING to see them playing on the same court, working as a team and boosting each other in the good times and the bad. It was particularly special for Ryan to see the entire starting squad of 8th graders play who are either former 5th grade students of his or are currently members of this Youth Group. We are confident that if all our volleyball players from The Wave Youth formed a church squad then that would be a hard team to beat! Well done girls and keep "serving" up success on and off the court!

Pumpkin Carving Competition

It has become a tradition to host a team Pumpkin Carving Competition each year with the Youth. It was equal parts messy, creative and a fun time :)

Is your Youth interested in

passing the Offering Plate

on Sunday Mornings?

Our wonderful Hospitality Director, Renee, is looking for possible youth who are interested in helping pass the Offering Plate to the congregation during the 9:00am Sunday Service. This opportunity would not be required every Sunday, just every now and then. If your Youth is interested then please contact Renee by calling the Church Office or by emailing renee@perdidobay.church

MS on Wednesdays!

• Meets weekly before school at 8:30am
• Breakfast snacks/drink, always!
• Great time to kick off your Wednesday with a positive word from the Word.

Send in those Sports and Extracurricular Schedules!

If your youth is involved in a sport,

e-sports team, band/chorus/orchestra or extracurricular club please send a photo or PDF of their schedule so we can try to make it out and support them!

Adult Volunteers and Chaperones List

If you are interested in joining the list of possible adult volunteers/chaperones please reach out to me via email, text message or phone call. We are always looking to gain more adult volunteers to regularly help out with Youth events. All youth volunteers must complete annual Safe Sanctuaries training and complete a successful background check which is good for 5 years.
