Our annual Gratitude Celebration on June 12th was a fabulous evening! We honored Anita Nordal with the Wendy R. Nadel Volunteer Legacy Award and recognized these YPIE Volunteers of the Year: Ruud Haring, David Isaac, Elisa Owen, Robyn Troob, and Marsha Williams. You can see photos in the Gratitude Celebration Photo Album. Many thanks to all who attended and made the evening so very special!
If you have not yet read the YPIE June newsletter that was sent out last week, please take a few minutes to do so. There are so many wonderful things happening at YPIE: high school and college graduations, the launch of YPIE Nashville, and Ellen Cutler Levy being appointed as the new Chair of the Board of Directors are just a few highlights. One of my favorite student events each year is the YPIE College Signing Celebration - that video is sure to make you smile!
The College Zones in both Yonkers and Jersey City are open this summer. Please email me if you wish to meet your student at either location.
I’ll be taking a newsletter break for July; please expect the next one in August. I’ll be around, though, so please reach out!
