This Summer’s Youth Track Program will run Monday-Thursday, from June 28- August 4 at Crosby Field. The program will run 10:00am-12:00pm each day for ages 6-15.
Program Registration:

Whether you are a beginner who needs basic instruction or you are a longtime player who wants to tune up your game, the Town of Tonawanda provides an instructional program for you.
Registration Information:
On-line and in person registration will begin on June 2 for residents and non-residents. In-person registration will only be available at the Town of Tonawanda Youth, Parks & Recreation Office, 299 Decatur Rd. Students must meet the age requirement by August 12, 2021. For ages 6-17, classes meet twice a week for seven weeks. Adult classes meet once a week for seven weeks. For more information contact Drew at 831-1001 or via email [email protected]

The Town of Tonawanda, in partnership with the Kenmore–Town of Tonawanda School District and the Western New York Lacrosse Foundation, will be offering two free spring Lacrosse clinics.
For grades 1–8, we will be offering instruction for basic skills and field awareness. These clinics will be great for beginners and intermediates. For more information contact Drew at 831-1001 or via email [email protected]

Swim Lessons are returning to the AFC! |
To register for swim lessons, a Swim Lesson Testing Verification & Registration Form must be presented at the front desk in order to register! All participants for the Spring 2021 session MUST lesson test prior to registering for lessons.
Lesson testing will be available April 27—April 30 between the hours of 3:00pm—8:00pm at the Aquatic & Fitness Center.
Please arrive at the facility and inform the front desk you are in need of a lesson test. They will inform a pool staff member who will then assist you.
Lesson registration begins on April 27.
At this time, we are offering minimal lessons with limited capacity. Out of an abundance of safety, lessons will only be offered on Sundays. Please, check out our website for more COVID-19 restrictions and facility protocol. At this time, lessons will only be offered to participants ages 6 years or older. No pre-school aquatics or parent-child swim lessons will be offered at the AFC. We appreciate your understanding!

After careful consideration, the Aquatic & Fitness Center will be opening the pool locker rooms showers on Monday, May 3.
We expect our patrons to be courteous and conscious of time spent in the locker room space. Masks are required in all areas of the facility, including locker rooms, when not using the showers.

Punch Cards are back for May! |
Due to limited class space, patrons that register and pay for the full session will have a guaranteed place in the class. Patrons who wish to walk in using a “Punch Card” will not have a guaranteed place in the class. Walk-in patrons will be allowed to participate in a class if the class roster is not full. Walk-ins will be permitted into class on a first come first serve basis on the day and time of the class.

Non-Member- $90
All group fitness classes will follow a monthly schedule.
May Classes will run from May 1–May 31

We are excited to announce that Lincoln Pool, Kenmore Pool and Mang Wading Pool will open for an adjusted pre-season schedule on Saturday, June 19! The pre-season schedule will run from 6/19–6/25. The full summer season schedule will begin on June 26 for the remainder of the summer.

Summer Camp Registration Ongoing |
Ages: 4-13
Days: Monday-Friday
Dates: June 28-August 27
Time: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Fees: Vary by enrollment; we offer full-time (5 days/week), part-time Monday/Wednesday/Friday, and part-time Tuesday/Thursday options. Ken-Ton residents pay a discounted fee!
Enrollment Fees include up to 10.5 hours of childcare daily, one camp t-shirt per person, full schedule of on-site enrichment activities, and weekly special events and guest performers/educators. Field trips and swimming may be available for additional cost, dependent on COVID-19 status and restrictions. Stay tuned for information as summer approaches.

Everyone entering the Senior Center will have a temperature check and will be asked wellness questions. You must wear a mask and observe social distancing! At this time, only the programming listed in this newsletter is ongoing & you must be pre-registered to participate. Other programming such as cards, groups, table tennis, shuffleboard etc. have not yet begun. | |
Erie County Stay Fit Dining Nutrition Program | The Erie County Stay Fit Dining “Dine-In Program” has resumed. The frozen meal program is still in place. Feel free to take part in both programs if you wish. You must be pre-registered. Call the Senior Center at 874-3266 for more information. (see menu for dine-in lunches) | | |
We are running our transportation service on a more regular basis. 2 of our 3 vans are back in service. Right now, doctor appointments are taking precedence, but we will try to fit grocery shopping, hair appointments, banking, etc. if there is room on a given day. If you are in need of transportation, you can reach the dispatcher at 875-1029 Monday thru Friday from 8:30am-1:30pm. | |
The cost to belong to the Senior Center has increased slightly in 2021. It now costs $17 for a resident and $25 for a non-resident to belong to the center. Memberships are good for a year from when it is paid. The cost to have the bulletin mailed to you is still $5 for the year. | | |
The Senior Center will offer Exercise on Mondays and Thursdays, Preventing Falls on Fridays and Bingo on various days at no charge to our members. Space is limited and you MUST be pre-registered for all activities! Call the Center for more information.

All football players, ages 6-14 years old and in weight classes 75 lb., 110 lb., 130 lb., and 155 lb. may register from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Tuesday, May 4, 11, 18, and 25 as well as from 9:00am-11:00am on Saturday, May 8, 15, 22, and 29 at the Kenney Field concession stand equipment room, located at the corner of Brighton Road and Colvin Boulevard in the Town of Tonawanda.
