Fellow Members:
As we move forward to 2022, I would like to share with you what has been a highly successful comeback year from 2021 and all that we experienced with the pandemic.
This December was the best month in the history of your Club. This was accomplished through regular daily sales, special nights, holiday meals and a record number of private parties. December is usually the best month of the year, but December 2021 was outstanding.
In terms of Club membership, we added 121 new members through two successful campaigns. The 85th Anniversary Celebration in April, and the Member Referral Program in
November and December. This is quite evident in seeing the many new faces when you visit the Club. We also increased the number of Corporate Memberships to thirty-five.
The renovation of the Club’s landscape was completed this fall by member George Balthaser of
Windsor Garden Design, with new plantings, and lighted beds. A thank you to the Zeppos Restaurant Group and your Club’s Board for their generosity in funding this effort.
Finally, your kindness was outstanding to say the least in contributing to the staff for the Employees Holiday Fund. A record amount of money was raised, and you are thanked for that. The staff has done an excellent job during a difficult year for the restaurant industry.
