Affordable Housing Construction Moving Full Steam Ahead

The Affordable Housing building is progressing rapidly with interior drywall finishing complete on the third floor and beginning through the second and first floors. Ceilings have been textured and cabinet installations will continue into October.

The west end of the site (closest to Gracepoint Fellowship) is being prepared for one of two parking lots. You can expect to see walkways and landscaping commence around the housing site.

Sheriff King Home Crisis Shelter

Some backfill has been completed leaving room for a second entryway to the site to be reopened. There are now vehicle entryways to the site on 16^th Street and on 20^th Avenue. This will allow for work on the shelter to continue when tenants move into the affordable housing building.

Cement for columns, elevator shafts and stairwells among other vertical elements continues to be poured for the first floor. The vertical slab for the second floor will be poured some time in October.
