Hello Friends,
We have the weekend in site. I am just itching to do some antenna work. The upper HF Band are so hot right now. Any kind of antenna will put a signal out that can be heard on 10 meters. It is awesome. I haven't done it in a while but I used to build silly antennas or try to load up just about anything from lawn chairs to ladders and try to make contacts o ten. When it is open you can really do it. For me it was fun. It's probably not for everyone though.
Hopefully the weather here will cooperate this weekend and I can get something going. We do have some company coming this weekend but I still bet I can do some antenna work.
Later this spring I am going to put a serious antenna back up. Since we moved to our current place I have been using wire for all HF stuff. I have had great success actually.
If you get a minute this weekend poke around on our site. We had two pick up loads of used gear in this week plus the normal trades that UPS brings every day. We are still running the discounts on all used gear. The final price shows up at check out.
Let's talk soon
