The Vascular Care of the Aging Population

A Hybrid CME Event
Friday, October 7, 2022 | 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM EST

A review of the epidemiology of the American aging population and its characteristics will be presented with the risks and benefits of antithrombotic medication in that group of patients.

Approaches and treatment of common vascular diseases in the elderly will be discussed that enhance the elderly patients’ mobility, survival and quality of life. An overview of recent technological and medical advances in the field will be presented. Special considerations for optimizing the outcomes of the elderly and frail patients will be highlighted as well as related innovations in vascular and endovascular surgery.
