Apple Gala
from Kanvas Studio
Wasn't Judy clever? She ordered the apple print, and the basket print to go with it! These will be great for aprons, placemats, napkins, and table runners. It looks like there's more than one kind of apple in this print, too!
Chickens are so popular! And it's more than just a trend - we have had customers asking us for chicken prints for years. So Judy makes sure to pick some great ones when the sales reps visit. The gray background makes these chickens look a bit more subtle than usual.
Acadia
by Michael Miller
We think aquatic animals may be hot this year - look at these wonderful prints. Many puffins (top in photo) have already left the shop - we have only half a bolt left! You've also been asking about shark fabric, and now we have that, too (bottom in photo). Some of us on staff are planning projects based on the prints in this line. Brew from Deb Strain by Moda This line of neutrals is very versatile! Sure, coffee fans will love the beans and the water rings, but other quilters can use these prints, too! They will add texture and interest to most any project.
by Benartex Here in Vermont, we've got lots of hunters and nature lovers. Lots of you stop in and ask for deer and bears - these prints are for you! Most of the animals are realistic in color and style, so we know you'll love to work with them. Start a new project for the hunter in your house today! Glow For It from Kanvas Studio by Benartex Fabric manufacturers are very savvy nowadays - we're seeing prints with extra oomph - in the last issue, we told you about a 3D kids panel. Here we have some glow-in-the-dark prints that just arrived! As you can see from the photos, they really do glow! The top photo was taken in daylight, and the bottom was taken at night. What kid wouldn't want a pillowcase made from these? Or use one (or more) of them in the border of a Halloween quilt. Prints like these add fun to your projects. Field of Dreams from Kanvas Studio by Benartex A black background really makes your bright colors shine. Look at the focus fabric here (top in photo) - the colors are just gorgeous! And the blue in the leaf print (bottom in photo) just glows. You can make a gorgeous bag from these prints! Regency Ballycastle Chintz from Christopher Wilson Tate by Moda Classic blues and yellows are always popular. This line is more than just your everyday tone-on-tone prints - the mix of color and motif will make an eye-catching project, no matter what you make. Maybe it's time for a new bed quilt - the fabric's all here! |
