Since her start in 2020, Kate Watters, owner of Wild Heart Farm, has continually pivoted, innovated, and ultimately contributed significant economic impact to the region, including creating jobs, expanding her farm, improving employee compensation, obtaining grants, and securing third place in a local Moonshot rural pitch competition. Beyond the numbers, her commitment to sustainability, building community, and creating unique and resilient spaces is truly the success story that needs to be shared.
