On Friday, Join Us for Lunch
Please join us at the Workshop School on Thursday June 5 or Friday June 6 for the students' final presentations and exhibitions of their projects. Everyone is hard at work, researching, writing, and building. One group of students is designing new energy efficient lighting for the 52nd Street business corridor. Another is producing a newspaper. Still others are creating mosaics and growing vegetables for a local middle school. And of course, students are finishing work on the brand new 818 biodiesel sports car, while another group is converting used fryer oil to fuel.
Year End Celebration Schedule
Presentations will take place between 9 AM and 11 AM Thursday and Friday. Please RSVP to Matt Riggan ([email protected]) if you can attend.
Lunch will be served on Friday June 6 at 11 AM in the cafeteria.

Share Your Passion
We are growing! Next year we will have 180 students including 90 new 9th graders. We are setting aside time on Wednesday afternoons for providing students with new experiences.
Do you teach yoga? Love chess? Sew? Is there nothing you'd rather do than share your passion for reading? Maybe you make jewelry or build birdhouses, or are an accomplished Toastmaster. EVX Fundraiser a Great Success
Thanks to our friends and readers, the April Dessert Reception was a wonderful event. The students baked, the guests ate, and we made about $23,000! That'll get us to Washington, and to the SCCA Road Rally and Auto Cross.
