As our seniors prepare to graduate tomorrow and this extraordinary and challenging school year comes to an end, I wanted to take a moment to congratulate everyone in our close-knit community.
Starting with the graduating Class of 2020: While you have missed much this semester, you have succeeded in achieving a great deal more. I congratulate each of you for the hard work and perseverance you have demonstrated during your collective time at Storm King. As we say goodbye to all of you tomorrow, I wish you goodwill and a future full of hope and prosperity.
For our underclassmen in grades 8-11 who follow behind them: I congratulate you for your willingness to finish this year strong in true Storm King fashion. I know it has been difficult at times, but I hope you have found ways to embrace change and look positively toward your futures at Storm King and beyond.
For the faculty and staff: I am extremely proud of the sincere commitment each one of you has shown to help our students finish this year successfully. You took on the challenge, embraced the opportunity to adapt teaching and learning quickly, and connected in different ways. Kudos and thank you for all that you do!
In closing, I will look forward to seeing many of you again soon. Until then, please be assured that all of us at Storm King will be working hard to ensure the very best for our students and community.
We often have little control over what happens to us, but we have full control over how we choose to respond. Thank you students, parents, faculty, and staff for finding new ways to learn, teach, communicate, and grow. I wish you all a safe, healthy, and enjoyable summer wherever you may be.

no barriers to our progress except those we ourselves erect!"
