We are excited to share with you our 2023 Impact Report (available in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole), a testament to the positive change your support has brought to communities across Massachusetts. The data, quotes, and photos of our community capture a monumental year and paint an inspiring picture for the work ahead.

Investor Spotlight: The Patriots Foundation

We are honored to continue to partner with the New England Patriots Foundation to increase internet access across our region. During a program visit, Josh Kraft, President of the Foundation, announced the $500,000 grant to support ongoing efforts to connect more households in Boston with affordable, high-quality internet access. Equipped with a stable home internet connection, more Bostonians will be able to apply for jobs, complete school work, access telehealth, find essential community resources, connect with loved ones, and more.

Just Published: Theory of Change White Paper

Community-based programs are the driving force behind closing the digital divide. That's why we set out to showcase the most effective strategies for others to utilize in their efforts to evaluate and scale their digital equity work. In collaboration with Dr. Colin Rhinesmith and Malana Krongelb and with support from The Patrick J. McGovern Foundation, we have developed an evaluation roadmap to help guide organizations, municipalities, and policymakers seeking to convert federal funding into digital equity for our communities.

Instructor Spotlight: CasSandra Samuel, Boston Teachers Union

CasSandra’s favorite part about Tech Goes Home are the bonds she is able to form with students, their families and fellow co-trainers and it is through these relationships that she builds trust and accountability, leading her to have taught over 244 graduates! CasSandra takes a team-based approach, explaining that “I hold them accountable” and extends her support to them by stating “We're in this together, trust me, when I say we, we are really WE”. Today, CasSandra is training learners in our TGH Community program for the Boston Teachers Union, a role she has filled for the past 6 years. She aims to help give fellow paras like herself the training and skills to perform the best they can for the children of Boston Public Schools.

Coming Soon: Our New Strategic Plan

This year TGH initiated a collaborative, equity-center strategic planning process and we’re proud of the ambitious goals we have created together. We will reach one million new TGH graduates, who will be connected with the power of technology, so they can thrive in the digital world. On top of that, we’ve set goals towards a more connected partnership network, expanding our advocacy work, and continuing to root our growth in diversity, belonging, inclusion and equity. We’re excited to share more details about our 10-year strategic plan in the new year!
