Lower Klamath Update

Fish vs. Fowl: Plan to increase Yolo Bypass flooding will reduce hunting opportunity
One of California Waterfowl’s greatest challenges is defending the state’s remaining wetlands. Unfortunately, there is a new plan that will increase flooding in the Yolo Bypass and reduce hunter opportunity.

Jeff Volberg, CWA’s Director of Water Law and Policy, analyses this new plan and its impact on waterfowl and waterfowl hunting at both private duck clubs and the intensively used Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area.
