NACCC mission statement: “To nurture fellowship among Congregational Christian Churches and to support ministries of the local church in its community and to the world, all in the name of Christ.”
On March 1, 2022, the NACCC/MOMC launched a One Great Hour of Sharing Appeal for Ukraine. Since then, $39,639.61 has been disbursed to the Salvation Army and Convoy of Hope, relief organizations on the ground with the capability to immediately meet needs. Recently and increasingly, we hear stories about ways in which NACCC churches across the United States, sometimes in league with other denominations, are meeting the needs of Ukraine refugees in loving and tangible ways. Central Congregational Church in La Mesa, California partnered with Spring Valley Community Church, Spring Valley, California “to assist Ukrainian refugees coming into the US via Tijuana, Mexico.* First Congregational Church in Kingston, New Hampshire, is helping to settle a refugee family in nearby Exeter, New Hampshire.
