Here's information on this year's Ministers Convocation April 20-23, 2020

East Coast - East Freetown, Massachusetts
Preaching that Keeps the Preacher’s Soul Alive. Sermon preparation can deplete our souls or fill our hearts. This is true for each step in the process—reading the story, looking for God, arranging ideas, and sharing what we find.  We have an amazing spiritual leader this year, Rev. Dr. Brett Younger. He h as been the Senior Minister of Plymouth Church in Brooklyn since 2016. Before coming to Plymouth, Brett was a professor at the McAfee School of Theology of Mercer University in Atlanta. Younger was a pastor in Texas, Kansas, and Indiana. He is the author of five books that not nearly enough people have read.

Midwest - Adrian, Michigan
Rev. Dr. Sarah Griffith Lund will be joining us at the Midwest Convention to share with us about her book "Blessed are the Crazy: Breaking the Silence About Mental Illness, Family and Church". Which explores her own story of family, faith and mental illness. She gr aduated with her M.Div from Princeton Theological Seminary and at the same time received her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. In 2002 she was ordained into Christian ministry through the Disciples of Christ and served for several years as a local church pastor in Brooklyn, Minneapolis, Indianapolis and Florida.

West Coast - Zephyr Cove, Nevada
The West Coast Ministers Convocation cordially invites you to restore our spirit in the serene and majestic surroundings of Zephyr Point Retreat Center in South Lake Tahoe. In the spaciousness of God’s creation we will gather in Christian fellowship and spiritual reflection. Our guest lecturer is the Rev. Dr. John R. Mabry, PhD who is the Sr. Minister of Grace North Church in Berkeley (NACCC/UCC). He also serves as the Director of the Interfaith Spiritual Direction Certificate Program at the Chaplaincy Institute. John is a prolific writer who will lead our workshops on Contemplation and Spiritual Practices.

Online Registration will begin in February
