DO YOU ENJOY AND VALUE
THE CONGREGATIONALIST
MAGAZINE?
Debby Fulton, Director of Development and Communications
Dewey Gierke, pastor at First Congregational Church in Cape Coral, FL, referred to
The Congregationalist
as
“the one thing that unifies the diverse churches and congregations that make up the NACCC.”
Four times a year, the NACCC mails copies of
the Congregationalist
to all active member churches at no charge. This is one of the many services offered to our churches. In addition, individual members (who request it) of NACCC churches are mailed a copy directly to their home, also at no charge.
We hope you enjoy reading the magazine and find some articles of interest to share with the entire congregation. You may ask, how can the NACCC afford to publish and mail this magazine to so many at no charge? Good question, and that’s where you come in. Because of the increasing expenses of designing, printing and mailing the magazine, we are finding it harder and harder to fully fund it without requesting a subscription payment. However, we have no intention of asking our member churches and their members to pay in order to receive
The Congregationalist.
However, today we are asking you, as the Year-Round Delegate to inform your congregation of the increasing expenses and ask them to consider a donation either individually or from the church. Could the church provide an offering one Sunday morning? Would your Benevolence committee consider a donation? Please help us get the word out.
