Year Seven Here We Come

Dear friends:

We’re ecstatic to celebrate the start of Benson Executive Search’s seventh year! Since opening our doors, we’ve grown internally and externally with a burgeoning network of companies and clients all in search of the next great fit.

While we blow out the candles, we acknowledge the journey we’ve shared with many of you thus far and reflect on… what a time it is to work in HR! From a remote work revolution driving renewed strategies for recruitment, retention and engagement, to the impact of artificial intelligence upon the way we work (and live), we’ve shifted with our clients as workplaces continue to evolve.

Placing an HR professional or rising star with the right organization is a most fulfilling goal. And while that sounds simple, we’ve seen clients’ needs change more rapidly and drastically than ever before. In the past year, companies have focused on culture building, embracing AI, and re-skilling employees who face new demands.

As things change, we’re actively listening to our clients, gleaning guidance and learnings that help us search even better. Through it all, our guiding principles of curiosity, trust, and honesty have continued to shape our experience.

We’re continuously amazed at the talent that clients, candidates, and partners present us with – you are flexible, responsive, and resilient. The resilience continues to amaze us, and it reminds us of the importance of human relationships in HR – the humans who empower growth and change, remain, indeed, our most valuable resource.

Thank you for being a part of our journey thus far, sharing your knowledge and advice, and making our HR community so rich.

A Final Word: Togetherness

One of the biggest pillars to uphold the culture of any company is a sense of unity and shared purpose. In tight-knit teams, strong interpersonal relationships lead to better communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. Off-site gatherings, like ours pictured from earlier this summer, provide invaluable opportunities for teams to connect on a deeper level, away from daily pressures.

Stepping away from the screens allowed for our creativity to flourish, and boosted appreciation for each other's strengths and the work that we do. It's truly our togetherness that drives motivation, solves complex challenges, boosts morale, and creates a positive work environment that we bring to our clients every day.
