Year-end is quickly approaching and will be here before you know it. Are you having a banner year? So many of you are! Don’t forget that you can use attorney fee structured settlements to safely defer taxes for a few years, or for the rest of your life.

Rates of return are in the 4% range, but that is not the draw here. The unbeatable thing is the deferral. If you structure any part of an attorney fee, you won’t get 1099’d on it until the year you receive the payments. And, that 1099 will only reflect payments you receive in that year. The rest continues to grow, tax-deferred.

Also, I’m excited about a new product that allows you to capture up to 8.5% of market returns without ever losing a penny in down market years! It’s still an attorney fee structured settlement, so all of the same deferral benefits apply!

Remember, you can only structure an attorney fee as part of a settlement, so it MUST be in the settlement documents, and it must be funded by the defense.
