We are proud to say that we're continuing our track record with 100% of the children in our leadership program and our TEAM BRYAN program being so talented that they earned admissions, plus scholarships and financial aid into the best schools in the world. In our recent classes, we’ve had the highest-ever number of Ivy League level admissions and scholarships. In the last five years, 68% of our graduates have been accepted to Ivy level schools, including Stanford, Columbia, Brown, UNLV, Southeastern, Clark Atlanta, Georgetown, Wesleyan, and Williams.
Through our Jewel Never Broken program, we've been able to scale online our best-in-class emotional & mental health tools that have existed at Lorenzi park for over 21 years. Through Inspire House and JewelNeverBroken.com, we have collectively reached over 2.7 million people in the last two years, by making emotional & mental health tools available to the masses for free. Our NotAloneChallenge extended this to millions more people over the last three months.
| |
The campaign provided free mental health tools to the millions of people it reached, while reminding them that they are not alone in their struggles. We had hundreds of influencers in finance, technology, entertainment, music & mental health who accepted and shared the challenge on social media - totaling 1.4 billion followers. Both iHeartRadio and Facebook helped amplify the campaign.
Our #1 strategic priority for 2023 is to raise funds to professionalize our organization by hiring additional staff to meet the dramatic increase in need for emotional & mental health programming. We are happy to say that we have increased our staff to 18 people, and have brought on the following staff members:
Andrew Freeman, PhD - Chief Clinical Officer
Jeanne Hamrick - Senior Consultant for Strategy & Fund Development
Casey Caruso - Director of Operations, JNB
Sydney King - Community Manager, JNB
Ricky Sypert - Manager
Paige Neuenschwander - Executive Assistant
Keilani Kimoto - Administrative Assistant

Thanks to the Englestad Foundation, along with Kelly & Bob Price, we’re able to fully own all three of our transitional homes within walking distance of our facilities. These homes have been extraordinary safe places of healing and growth for the children in our program. Thanks to the Long Family Force For Good Foundation for covering operational expenses of one of the homes.
ICF Charity of the Year for Henderson Leadership Class of 2022
Thanks to Leadership Henderson Class of 2022, our transitional homes were chosen to be fully renovated. Several community leaders and businesses joined together to make our homes incredibly beautiful places to live, and even more loving, safe, and supportive for youth undergoing challenging circumstances.

A special congratulations to NO QUIT alumna, Asia Muhammad, for reaching the semi-finals of the tournament in doubles!

Foundation alumna, Ashley Newell-Prandecki, was one of four sisters in our program who received college scholarships for tennis & academics to Western New Mexico University. Upon graduating, Ashley coached one of our outreach programs while studying for her MCAT. Ashley then received a full-ride scholarship to the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine, thanks to the Englestad Foundation, and is now completing residency at UMC. Ashley and her family were recognized for their extraordinary efforts, and Ashley was presented with the Empowerment Award by Raiders tight-end and Foundation partner, Darren Waller.

We were awarded a grant from the Nevada Department of Behavioral Health Services. This allowed us to hire clinical psychologist, Dr. Andrew Freeman, along with two peer-to-peer support staff. The grant will also fund multiple staff trainings, and allow us to provide clinical services to our youth.
Physicians & Barristers Ball
Through our project-driven learning program, youth led our 12th Annual Physicians & Barristers’ Ball. 100% of the operations and functions of the event were run by the children, where they gained confidence and know-how through real-life work. The event had over 300 entries and raised thousands of dollars for our physical, emotional & mental health programs.
Leadership Retreats are one of the most powerful programs we provide. Students are taken out of their day-to-day lives and placed into new environments, often involving nature, self-reflection and team bonding that gives them a new perspective on life and a greater sense of appreciation for what they have.
We successfully held numerous retreats, including our marquee events:
- Strategic Planning Retreat In Joshua Tree
- Summer Leadership Retreat at Malibu Fig Ranch
- Winter Leadership Retreat at the Westin Lake Las Vegas
A big thank you to Westin Lake Las Vegas and Kerry Clasby at Malibu Fig Ranch for hosting us!

We are beginning a partnership to insert elements of our program into an online, immersive wellness center in the metaverse. Our first step in this partnership is to create mental health programming available with metaverse partner Innerworld for those who can’t afford it.
East Coast Leadership Tour
This year’s annual TEAM BRYAN East Coast Alumni Leadership Retreat gave alumni an opportunity to reconnect in New York and spend time in a fun and inspirational way. They used this trip to check in with one another as peer-to-peer mentors to discuss where they are at in their lives. Through each other’s mentorship, they set new goals, formed new habits and made positive changes in their lives.
Thanks to Bob, Mike & Wayne Bryan, along with Jack & Barbara Nicklaus, the 6th annual Fore Love event took place at Mr. Nicklaus' home and private grass tennis courts in West Palm Beach, FL. Pros that supported the event included Bob & Mike Bryan, Juan Martin del Potro, Kim Clijsters, Kevin Anderson, Victoria Azarenka, Reilly Opelka, Tommy Paul, William Blumberg, and Leylah Fernandez.
Necker Cup was a huge success thanks to the generosity of the pros that donated their time, including: Juan Martin del Potro, Kevin Anderson, Heather Watson, Mike Bryan, Vasek Pospisil, James Cluskey, and James McGee.
After 4 years without any fundraising events (due to COVID), we were able to host a private VIP dinner, concert & fundraiser with Jewel in Telluride, Colorado.
Las Vegas Pickleball Charity Classic
Thanks to Plaza Hotel & Casino, we hosted our 2nd annual Las Vegas Pickleball Charity Classic, presented by lemonsnlaundry.com! Alumna & Stanford graduate Kimberly Yee was our tournament director and donated her time to give back to the Foundation.
Thanks to Patrick Parker, Cody Winterton and the entire Lake Las Vegas community, we were able to build relationships with Raintree Investment Corp and Brock Krahenbuhl with GTI Nevada. They did a complete renovation of our backyard, beautifying it into a place where children can thrive on peer-to-peer group discussions and meaningful conversations.
TAO L4 Team Championships
Thanks to founding Advisory Board member Jason Strauss, we have been awarded a National Level 4 Team Tournament. Congratulations to our TEAM BRYAN and NO QUIT players who competed in this amazing team competition sponsored by Jason Strauss & TAO Group! We had a total of 9 champions and 2 runner-ups in this competitive event.

Kelly Price River Retreats
Thanks to Kelly Price, Sean Wolfington and Bennington Boats who made it possible for our children to engage our river retreat on a more consistent basis. These river mindfulness retreats reconnect the children to themselves by immersing them in big nature.

We partnered with Jewel, Tony Hawk and DC Shoes to construct a skate park for the Dine youth and their families within the Navajo nation.
Thanks to advisory board member Jonathan Jossel, CEO of the Plaza Hotel & Casino and alumna Kimberly Yee (Stanford) we hosted Vegas Executives for this incredible evening of fun, food, music and play.
Life Is Beautiful Festival
We love to give our youth (& staff) an outlet for a positive social life. Sometimes that’s watching a movie or playing board games, and sometimes it’s dancing like crazy at a music festival!
Thank you Zappos, Jewel and the Hsieh Family for giving us the opportunity to give this experience to our foundation youth & staff.
