2022 YEARBOOKS ARE IN THE MAIL
After a number of delays (beyond our control), the 2022 Association yearbook will be arriving at your permanent address shortly--many of you have already received it.
Read the great feature articles, check out the 2021 photo contest winners (and the many brilliant photo contest submissions throughout the book), learn what's happened and happening around the lake, and find out what the Association has been up to in the reports from our committee chairs.
Keep the book handy for when you are looking for a local business. Our advertisers support the Association and we love to support them in return.
ENJOY!!!

Lake of Bays Sailing Club (LBSC) Capital Campaign
Endless Summer: 600 by 60!
The official launch of the Lake of Bays Sailing Club’s capital campaign was held at Cheers to Summer on July 2nd. In recognition of the significant capital improvements that are badly needed at the Club, the LBSC Board of Directors has launched an ambitious capital campaign - “Endless Summer: 600 by 60”. The Endless Summer Campaign ($600,000 by the 60th anniversary (2024)) will help ensure the Club remains an enduring fixture on Lake of Bays, providing a vibrant sailing and social environment for years to come.
The capital campaign will fund essential projects such as a full dock replacement, interior renovation of the clubhouse, including washroom upgrades, ventilation and interior cladding, construction of an outdoor teaching facility and an extensive fleet rejuvenation.
Now more than ever, the Club needs the support of the Lake of Bays community to preserve and improve this beloved Lake of Bays institution. The Lake of Bays Sailing Club helps set Lake of Bays apart from the rest of Muskoka by fostering a welcoming environment of inclusiveness, facilitating life-long friendships, promoting sportsmanship and instilling respect for the lake and our environment; all qualities that epitomize the Lake of Bays community at large.
Please visit the LBSC website at LBSC.ca to donate today!

Lake of Bays resident Glenn ‘The Fish’ Vickery is back again in Lake of Bays, swimming around Bigwin Island on Saturday August 27!
Glenn is raising money to support and to advocate for funding for cardiac diagnostic equipment at Huntsville Hospital. It’s also his way of saying thank you to front line workers at the hospital.
Kayakers, canoeists and SUPs are welcome to take part in the event. For liability and safety reasons, other swimmers will not be able to participate.
